In a radio interview with Fox News, former US President Donald Trump stated that he would not impose any occupation plan on Gaza.

He expressed surprise that Jordan and Egypt opposed his idea of occupying Gaza and displacing Palestinians. Trump remarked, I will tell you the method of this plan; I think it is a workable plan, but I am not imposing it. I am only recommending it.

He further claimed that under this plan, the US will control the site, Hamas will be eliminated, and development will take place, allowing for a fresh start.

Meanwhile, the Arab League has reaffirmed its strong support for Jordan and Egypt’s stance, rejecting any attempts to displace the Palestinian people from their land.
