The Sindh government has initiated action against charged parking in Karachi without notifying town administrations.

The chairman of Saddar Town stated that parking fees are formally auctioned through contracts, yet neither provincial authorities nor relevant departments informed the town administration before conducting sudden arrests.

Karachi Commissioner blamed unregulated parking for traffic issues, while Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Memon announced the termination of all charged parking spots across the city.
