Sindh CM Invites South Korea to Invest in Dhabeji Economic Zone

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has invited South Korean companies to invest in the Dhabeji Special Economic Zone, aiming to enhance economic cooperation between the two regions. He extended this proposal during a meeting with South Korean Ambassador Park Kijun at the Chief Minister’s House, where they discussed trade relations and investment prospects.

Murad Ali Shah highlighted investment opportunities in high-tech industries, semiconductors, and the automobile sector, emphasizing the benefits of the Dhabeji Economic Zone for foreign investors. Ambassador Park Kijun expressed South Korea’s interest in investing in Sindh’s IT and automobile sectors.

The ambassador also recalled South Korea’s past involvement in developing the Hyderabad-Mirpurkhas Road through a public-private partnership but noted that no major projects had been undertaken since then. To facilitate investment, the Chief Minister directed the Sindh Investment Department to connect with Korean investors and offer necessary assistance.

According to the Chief Minister’s spokesperson, this meeting is expected to strengthen economic ties between Sindh and South Korea, opening doors for future trade and industrial collaborations.
