ISLAMABAD – PTI Senator Aon Abbas Buppi was presented in the Senate on a production order, while the issue of Senator Ejaz Chaudhry’s absence despite a similar order was referred to the Privileges Committee.

The Senate session, chaired by Yusuf Raza Gilani, saw Senator Buppi expressing gratitude for his production order while criticizing the authorities for not presenting Ejaz Chaudhry. He detailed his arrest, stating that 20 individuals raided his house and factory, assaulted him, and took his mobile phone. He was later informed that he was accused of hunting five deer.

Buppi condemned the disregard for production orders, stating that his appearance seemed only to appease the chairman. He demanded the cancellation of his production order and refused to attend further sessions until Ejaz Chaudhry was also brought to the House.

Chairman Gilani stopped Buppi from walking out and ruled that the matter of Ejaz Chaudhry’s non-production would be referred to the Privileges Committee, emphasizing the need for compliance with Senate directives.
