Saudi Arabia hosts a large number of Pakistani expatriates working in various sectors, contributing significantly to Pakistan’s forex reserves through remittances. In January 2025, Pakistanis in Saudi Arabia sent $728.3 million, reflecting a 5.5% decline from the previous month. However, this was a 24% increase compared to $587.4 million remitted in January 2024.
