Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has announced discounted fares on two international routes ahead of Ramazan and Eidul Fitr 2025.

The airline is offering a 10% discount on tickets from Toronto to Karachi, available for travel until March 31, with bookings required by March 10. Additionally, passengers flying from Paris to Islamabad can avail a 15% discount, valid from February 28 to March 16, with bookings open until March 2.

A PIA spokesperson confirmed that passengers can also book tickets online to benefit from these offers.

In a positive development, PIA recently resumed flights to Europe, beginning with Paris, after the EU aviation regulator lifted the 2020 ban imposed due to pilot licensing concerns.

Meanwhile, the federal government is moving forward with PIA’s privatization after a previous attempt failed, attracting only Rs10 billion from a single bidder. Authorities plan to invite fresh Expressions of Interest in March 2025.

These developments mark an important phase for PIA as it seeks to regain its international standing and enhance passenger convenience through discounted fares and resumed operations.
