KARACHI – The Omani Rial (OMR) saw an increase in value against the Pakistani rupee on March 7, 2025, in the open market. The buying rate stood at Rs723.25, while the selling rate was Rs731.75.

Oman is the third-largest employer of Pakistani expatriates in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region after Saudi Arabia and the UAE, with 360,000 Pakistanis working in various sectors.
