Justice Department Releases Epstein Files, But No New Revelations

The U.S. Justice Department has released a set of documents related to Jeffrey Epstein, but they contain no significant new information. The files, including flight logs, a redacted address book, and an evidence list, have mostly been public for years. Attorney General Pam Bondi had announced the release, emphasizing government transparency, but many were disappointed by the lack of fresh details.

The documents were first shared with political influencers before being officially posted online. Critics, including Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, expressed frustration, demanding the full records. Bondi has ordered the FBI to hand over all Epstein-related files by Friday. FBI Director Kash Patel pledged to uncover any missing records.

Epstein, accused of sex trafficking, was arrested in 2019 but died in jail under controversial circumstances. His connections to high-profile figures, including Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, and Prince Andrew, have fueled public interest. A 2023 report found negligence at the jail but no foul play in his death. Over the years, thousands of pages of case records have been released, yet key questions remain unanswered.
