LAHORE – The price of 24-karat gold in Saudi Arabia saw a significant increase on February 27, reaching 4,093 Saudi Riyals (SAR) per tola, according to forex.pk. Meanwhile, 10 grams of 24-karat gold is being sold at SAR 3,513, while the per ounce price stands at SAR 10,926.

In currency exchange, the Saudi Riyal’s open market rate against the Pakistani Rupee stood at Rs 74.58, while the selling rate reached Rs 75.1 in various exchange companies.
Additionally, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia recently signed a $1.2 billion deferred payment agreement for oil imports. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) CEO Sultan Abdulrahman Al-Marshad were present at the signing ceremony. This agreement aims to support Pakistan’s economy by ensuring a stable petroleum supply while easing fiscal pressure.
