ISLAMABAD – The CM Punjab Laptop Scheme 2025 has sparked excitement among students as the official laptop distribution is set to commence after Ramadan. The Chief Minister of Punjab is directly overseeing the initiative to ensure a smooth process.
The scheme aims to provide Core i7 13th Generation laptops to thousands of high-achieving students in universities and colleges, particularly those excelling in fields like Computer Science, IT, Medicine, Engineering, and Agriculture. Additionally, a specific quota has been reserved for minority students and top performers in Secondary and Higher Secondary School Examinations.
Eligibility & Registration Process
This year, educational institutions are directly submitting eligible students’ data to HEC Punjab for validation. Students under 22 years of age, domiciled in Punjab, and with a family income under Rs 300,000 are eligible. Academic performance will be a key selection criterion, and some students may need to pass an online test.
Who Can Apply?
- First-year students of BS, Medical, Engineering, Agriculture, and Technology programs with 60% in annual exams or 70% in semester exams.
- Master’s, MS, M.Phil., and PhD scholars meeting the same academic criteria.
- Top 100 students from provincial, technical, and federal matriculation boards.
- Top 400 students from Matric and Intermediate in other provinces, AJK, and Gilgit-Baltistan.
- 4,000 laptops for students from Deeni Madaris through the Auqaf Department.
