Tuchel has introduced fresh faces, with Newcastle defender Dan Burn and Arsenal’s Myles Lewis-Skelly receiving their first call-ups. Burn, 32, has worked his way up from non-league football, earning praise for his dedication.
Jordan Henderson also returns to the squad, despite last playing for England in November 2023. The Ajax midfielder, 34, offers experience and leadership. However, Crystal Palace’s Adam Wharton has been left out despite regular club appearances.
England begins its 2026 World Cup qualifiers at Wembley against Albania and Latvia on March 21 and 24. Tottenham’s Dominic Solanke is back after injury, providing support to Harry Kane.
