ISLAMABAD – Newly appointed federal ministers Mustafa Kamal, Hanif Abbasi, and Sardar Muhammad Yousuf officially assumed their roles, vowing to implement measures for public welfare.

Mustafa Kamal of MQM-P took charge as Minister for National Health Services, Regulations & Coordination, where he was briefed on key health matters, including the operations of PMDC, DRAP, and polio eradication programs. He emphasized his commitment to improving healthcare policies for long-term public benefit.

PML-N leader Hanif Abbasi assumed the position of Minister for Railways. Upon his arrival, Secretary Railways Mazhar Ali Shah provided a detailed briefing on train operations and security measures. Abbasi directed officials to install modern surveillance systems, combat smuggling, and address railway infrastructure theft. He also announced plans to reduce fares for Eid and hinted at progress on the ML-1 project.

Sardar Muhammad Yousuf took over as Minister for Religious Affairs & Interfaith Harmony and held meetings with senior officials to discuss upcoming initiatives.

The new cabinet members pledged to bring significant improvements in their respective ministries, aiming to enhance public services and efficiency.
