Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir urged the youth to focus on their duties and refrain from baseless criticism. He emphasized self-responsibility and encouraged students to work hard in their academic pursuits.
During an interaction with university students in Bahawalpur, General Munir reiterated the army’s commitment to empowering young people. He highlighted their crucial role in shaping Pakistan’s future and stressed the importance of acquiring knowledge and skills to contribute to national development.
He praised the sacrifices of Pakistani families and assured that as long as the youth stand united with the armed forces, no external force can harm the country. Addressing security concerns, he noted that terrorism operates within an organized illegal spectrum, often backed by certain elements who spread false narratives to weaken state efforts.
